Parker Williams was moving too fast. It wasn't that she didn't want to be with him. But they'd now only officially been together for how long...three hours. Thats right, three hours into their relationship and they were going up to a room that for the both of them, was notorious for taking dates to. They hadn't even been on a date yet. Parker was actually nervous about this. She wasn't sure how far it was going to go, or if it would even get as far as she was worried about. She still had so many reservations about him. It wasn't that she didn't trust him, as a friend she completely trusted him...As a boyfriend...well lets just say he was notorious for being a major plaything. She hoped that this wouldn't be the same. A part of her was only up here to keep him around....no matter how far it got.
And all these thoughts after three hours. All these reservations and fears going through her head after being his girlfriend for three hours. Things were moving incredibly fast. Faster than the speed of sound, you could argue. But while yes, she was nervous, it also felt really right. Because they had been so close throughout their lives, it felt like they had been dating for a while....not just three hours. All she knew was that she was holding his hand and they were walking to the Room of Requirement. How far things would get...how far they wouldn't...that didn't matter anymore. What mattered was that she was holding his hand, and she felt safe. She felt like she could easily fall for him, but she wasn't going to make it easy. Not three hours easy. Maybe she was finally growing up, maybe she wasn't easy anymore. She knew more than anyone that she hadn't been the most innocent girl. She lost her virginity when she was fifteen, and that was two years ago. She knew that she was a flirt, and at one point in her life, incredibley easy. But she wasn't like that anymore...she wouldn't be like that.
They walked past the door, thinking of what they wanted. When the door appeared, and they stepped inside, it wasn't romantic or candle-lit...because that wouldn't happen after three hours. It was just a room. Blue walls and chairs and couches, and a bed. Now she knew...this was her room. It was her room at her moms, with a few elements of the house she stayed at when she was in California. There were magazines and books, her bulliten board littered with pictures of her and her friends, including one of her and Sirius in second year, next to one of them in sixth. They were grown ups now. She looked up and him and grinned.
"Welcome to my room." She grinned at him, she let go of his hand and walked over to her couch and grabbed a magazine. "You like?" She grinned up at him. He'd never been in her room before, mostly when the boys were over they were outside in the pool or inside charming her mother...which usually just got them her famous french toast, which was usually what they were after anyways. She was pretty sure that they had been in her room once or twice before, but her room was her santuary, and she didn't let just anybody in.

Sirius Black was moving too fast, as was Parker Williams. You would never hear those words escape the lips of the Prankster Prince though. He had never felt he was moving to fast when it came to girls. Yet, Parker was different than anyone other girl he had fancied. She was special and he wanted her to know that. They had been together, what? Three hours at the most and they were already planning on losing their innocence. Well, he was anyway. Parker had told him ages ago that she had lost her virginity when she was fifteen. It pained him that she had because he had wanted to be her first. But, he couldn't obtain everything he wanted in life, could he? The answer was no. He let Parker lead him to wherever it was she planned on taking him. He would not argue, not that he wanted to anyway. As they reached the Room of Requirement, he waited. Watching as Parker paced back and forth in front of the wall and then a door appeared. He walked through the door and what he saw inside made him smile.
He could already tell who's room it was before Parker had said it was hers. He and James had gotten a glimpse of it when they had visited her during the holidays one time, it having been the same summer he had run away from his own home, Number Twelve Grimmauld Place, although he had never callen that god forsaken place home. It was just a twisted house that he was forced to live in because his so called parents made him. He had finally escaped them and for that he was happy. He smiled at Parker as she asked if he liked it.
"Of course I like it, hun." He said, walking further into the room and sitting on the couch, now looking around, as if he was examining every inch of the room. He found it to be a nice, well kept room. Well, of course it was well-kept. It was Parker he was thinking about. Parker always had everything neat, well almost everything, unlike him, who he hated to say could be a complete slob at times. Hopefully Parker would change all that.

Parker smirked at him. As he sat down on the couch she laid down, her head resting on his lap. He was a comfy pillow, what else could she say? She continued reading the magazine. She was sort of slipping out of girlfriend mode and back into best friend mode. Besides, she was more comfortable being herself rather than acting all hot and bothered. Its not like that was going to do her any good after being his girlfriend for three hours. If she wanted this to work, they had to be normal...whatever normal was. She'd never really had a normal relationship to compare it to. Most of her relationships were purely lust and well...shagging.
But this was totally different. Best friends, that was what the relationship was based on. And hopefully trust. She was beginning to trust him...but only because she trusted him with her life as a friend. They had always been friends, and nothing was ever going to change that...ever. Not even if this relationship didn't work. But then again, maybe she was reading too much into...well everything at this point. Maybe she was just thinking too much. That was what happened when things got like this for her. When she really started to fancy someone...she overthought things...a lot. Okay yeah...she was now overthinking overthinking things. When she was lost in her thoughts like this...well it wasn't pretty. So she diverted her attention away from her magazine of thoughts and back up to her boyfriend.
Well needless to say it was a good thing that her mom was a clean freak...otherwise her room would've been in shambles for him to see. She grinned up at him and watched him closely survey her room. "Well I'm glad..." She replied, wondering what he was thinking, looking up at him intently, looking like she was trying to read his thoughts. After about a minute of not getting anything for his facial expressions, she smirked as she spoke again. "Penny for your thoughts?" She asked him innocently. She hated when people were unreadable and often merely would ask what they were thinking.

Sirius sighed deeply in content as he felt Parker place his head down into his lap. He looked down at her and smiled, his handsome features lighting up. He smirked as he watched her start to read a magazine she had taken off the table beside the very couch he was sitting on. He was lost in his thoughts. He too was slipping into best mate mode with Parker. How else could he not? He and Parker had always been friends and always will be. He just hoped this relationship would work but he knew it would. He fancied Parker and he would not ruin it. Not this time. He would not act stupid. He heard her question and he smiled.
"It's nothing." He answered nonchalantly with a simple shrug of his shoulders as he looked down at her, their gazes locked. "I was just thinking about...us." He answered, and for the first time ever Sirius Black actually looked away. He looked away and blushes. Usually it was the other way around. Usually it was the girl who did that and it would be he doing the smirking but now everything seemed twisted. It was as if he was playing the girl and Parker was playing the bloke. Funny thought, really, if he thought about it. He almost laughed but he didn't want Parker to think he had gone insane, although over the years, he wouldn't of doubted that she thought he was insane from all the years they've known each other.

Okay, her life goal had just been accomplished. She made Sirius Black blush. This was the absolute best moment in the blonde's life. She grinned up at him and sat up. He was still looking away so she turned his face gently to face her own. She met her lips softly with his and pulled away. It wasn't Parker to be...gentle when kissing someone. She passionate, and firey. But it was different with him for some odd reason. She never really blushed, and this was no different, she was never embarassed or ashamed, which seemed a little arrogant, but she was too damned proud to actually admit that. When she pulled away, she was grinning at him. Now she could just torment him for blushing.
"Ha. I made you blush." She said, a very girly hint of humor in her voice, but her level of humor was the same. "Now are you going to tell me what exactly you were thinking about...or is this going to be a guessing game?" She said, a mischievious glimmer in her eyes. She could do either. She had a great intuition for these types of things, and she pretty much got him anyway. The two were too too much alike and he was probably having the same thoughts as her.
-crap, but its the first post i've done in...oh two weeks.-

Sirius smirked after kissing Parker. He had always known, and always will know, that you never kissed gently with Parker. It was always a fiery and passionate kiss, which he had obliged to without protest not moments ago. "That's not funny." He said, putting on a mock hurt face when she mentioned she had made him blush. She dramatically placed the back of his head against his forehead and leaned back slightly against the couch, sighing deeply. He was joking of course and he knew Parker would catch a hint.
The next question she shot at him threw him a bit off guard. "Hmmm...I think I'll make it a guessing game." He said, tossing her his infamous lopsided grin. "Those are always fun." He said, his lips now curling in a smile.

"Really cause I thought it was pretty funny..." She grinned at him wickedly. She was so...comfortable around him. It was strange, she was usually confident and dominant around guys, but with him...she could be just Parker, she could be a girly girl, she could be herself and they wouldn't change. She loved him for the person he made her...woah. 'Love? Yeah Right Anna...' She said, talking inwardly to herself. Whenever she talked to herself she referred to herself as Anna or Williams...never Parker. But really...love? She didn't love him, they'd only been going out for what...four hours now? But maybe...no. She didn't love him, she couldn't love him, she'd never loved anyone before save her friends. But wait...maybe she loved him all along. He was one of her best friends, and she'd always loved him differently from her girlfriends, and somehow, he was different than James and Remus in her eyes. Maybe she really did love him all along.
She instantly snapped back to reality...she would have to save the tough stuff for later. As his words caught up with her, she rolled her eyes and then grinned at him. "Okay, fine...guessing game...are you thinking about...how lucky you are to have a girl like me? Or how you can't wait to see what kind of underwear I'm wearing..." She said teasingly, pushing her bangs out of her face and grinning madly at him. Like anything was actually going to happen tonight. Parker liked to have fun, but she wasn't that easy. Her eyes were sparkling with a pure mischievious delight, like they had seemed to be for hours upon end today. Today was argueably the best day of the blondes life.
-Yay...I posted!-

"Yeah, well, you and me have a total different sense of humour." Sirius answered, a grin now occupying his handsome features. He ran a nervous hand through his black hair, his bangs falling back into his eyes casually. Woah...wait. Nervous? He couldn't be nervous, could he? Nah. He was never nervous around Parker. Parker was well....Parker. There was nothing he would ever change about her. He smiled at the thought.
"The first thing you said was right." He said with a smile, looking over at her. He shifted his seat slightly so that he and Parker were a bit more comfortable. A sigh escaped his lips but then he grinned as he heard her second suggestion as to what he had been thinking about. "We'll save that one for a later time, dear." He stated, that mischievous glint back in his dark eyes.
OOC: Finally posted but it's crap. Meh. Sorry it took so long.

"Yeah, you know thats not true..." She said laughing. In fact, their sense of humor was quite similar, although Parkers was a bit more intellegent, her wit and sharp tongue often making quick remarks and insults. She could tell for a split second that he was nervous, and quite frankly, she was a little nervous. Not because she wasn't completely comfortable with him, but because the thought of the two of them actually commiting to a relationship still scared her a bit, and she had to admit that there would always be that part of her that would be apprehensive about this whole arrangement.
And then he would tease her. There was this tone to his voice that absolutely made her melt, and the glimmer in his eye...ugh. What a tease. With that, she let her...lust get the better of her and she shifted and turned towards him, straddling his lap. She, while he was slouched and she was on her knees on his lap, was a bit taller than him so she bent down a little bit to kiss him, teasingly, almost nothing before pulling away and looking at him with a glint of her own in her eyes. She spoke melodically, a smooth huskiness to her voice.
"If you're sure about that...it can wait. But I wouldn't be opposed to a snogging session would you?" She asked, the same smoothness and innocence in her voice when she was far from being as innocent as she put on, and he knew that...

"Ah, but it's halfway true." Sirius said with a grin for he knew that him and Parker had almost similar senses of humour. He sighed, his nerves kicking it. He supposed he was nervous for the same reason as Parker was. Their relationship. He had never really committed to one girl before but he wanted to change that. He loved Parker....Okay, hold on. He couldn't possibly love her...Fine. Yes he could, though he wouldn't admit it until he learned that Parker felt the same.
All thoughts were considered pointless as Parker straddled her legs on him. He couldn't help but smirk as she stared down at him, their eyes locked. She looked beautiful, that he couldn't deny. He smiled as she leaned in and her lips touched his lightly, almost nothing, but yet it had sent a great electric bolt to his heart. As he heard her question, his smile grew wider.
"Of course I wouldn't mind, darling. Why would I?" He asked before gently touching her chin and bringing her closer to him, his lips touching hers lightly before he kissed her passionately, a smirk still playing along his lips.

She was lost in that kiss and the aftermath of it for a whole minute of sort of just staring at him. But then it hit her, really really hit her. They'd only been officially dating for a little over four hours. They hadn't been on an actual date. What had happened to her changing her ways? Growing up? This was not typical grown up behaivior and she knew that. So she slid off his lap and stood up, going over to her bulliten board and looked at the pictures. Pictures of her friends, of the two of them, when they were 'just friends'. And she pulled back. Emotionally pulled herself out of the place she'd been in for the past three hours.
She looked over to him on the couch. She thought about her next move carefully and thuroughly before actually saying what was on her mind. When she did speak, it was bravely, as if you could tell she was doing the noble thing. "We can't do this. I...can't do this. If we're going to date, it can't be like this. I want to change, but I don't want to change you. We've been friends for so long, and I don't want this to happen...'this way'. Things have to go so much slower than this." Her original thought was to break up with him already, but she didn't want that.
She couldn't do that. And she wouldn't. She knew he was going to be frustrated, she knew that for a fact. He was not the type of guy to take things slow in the relationship, he was arrogant and cocky in relationships, and loved to brag, and she knew that. But she hoped he could get past that without changing and becoming...'Mr. Nice Guy', because that wasn't him and that wasn't the Sirius she wanted. She didn't want a serious Sirius. He still needed to be fun, and arrogant, cause thats the guy she was best friends with, the one that she really liked, which was strange, but true. It was a good balance between them.
[Remember, no sweet nice Siri. He can be nice, but...yeahh. cocky. LOL. =] ]
